Golden Retriever Rescue

GRR's Victorian Representative - Gail Boyd

An article about GRR appeared in the November/December 2006 issue of 'Bark' magazine which brought about the introduction of Gail Boyd to GRR Inc. Gail, a Goldie lover from way back was keen to help, and made several trips to Sydney from Albury to learn how GRR operates and observe Wendy and Trisha rescue and rehabilitate the Goldies before placing them into homes.

It wasn’t long before a Goldie needed rescuing in the Albury area and when Gail was contacted she went into action and it was the first of many trips up the Hume Highway with a Goldie to GRR Headquarters. Years later and with many successful rescues and rehomings to her credit, Gail heads up GRR Inc in Albury

Gail is GRR’s representative in Albury and organises fundraising and is responsible for the addition of the Family Vet Centre at Albury and Wodonga to the GRR team enabling GRR to rehome the rescues into Victoria.

Gail’s love of Golden Retrievers has led her to GRR and Trisha and Wendy are forever grateful that she found her way to GRR and not only welcome her as a friend and colleague but as a member of the GRR family.

Many people in Victoria have Gail to thank for their Goldie, because without Gail GRR would be unable to rehome Goldies in that State.
